Rep. Trent Franks, a Republican who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, said in a statement Tuesday that Mueller is in violation of the law that prohibits Mueller from serving as a special counsel if he has a conflict of interest.Mueller and former FBI Director James Comey have been longtime allies dating back to 2003 when the men both worked in Washington, Mueller as the FBI Director and Comey as Deputy Attorney General. Franks cited the pair’s relationship as a reason for Mueller to be disqualified from the probe.“Bob Mueller is in clear violation of federal code and must resign to maintain the integrity of the investigation into alleged Russian ties,” Franks said. “Those who worked under them have attested he and Jim Comey possess a close friendship, and they have delivered on-the-record statements effusing praise of one another.
Everybody likes to refer to John McCain as a war hero. The press is very good at this, John McCain becomes the, “maverick” and throws a monkey wrench into any conservative legislation that may be going through the Senate. He becomes praised and if anybody speaks out against him he is reminded that John McCain is a war hero.
I would like to remind the press Benedict Arnold was also a war hero, until he was a traitor. John McCain is put himself before the country, both a matter of pride.
When Democrats aren’t importing foreign ringers to boost their voting rolls, they’re using government employees to do the same. The Office of Special Counsel just released a report suggesting that the U.S. Postal Service union broke the law by having employees do work on behalf of the Clinton campaign in 2016. Normally, federal employees are allowed to engage in political activism while on leave. But the union that governs USPS employees showed a bias toward Clinton during last year’s heated campaign.
Just a quick note on what happened here, for our academia friends who were brain-dead. The Postal Service gave time off without pay to work for the Clinton election. The trouble arises is because these people had to be replaced at work to fill in the slots, by personnel were working overtime and being paid extra.
It’s kinda like a bait and switch where you say you’re complying with the law by giving them the time off without pay but then turning around having to pay their cohorts double-time for their absence.
What’s the matter with Republicans that they completely lost your minds? It appears that none of them have the ability to think farther than the next cocktail party. Can somebody come up with a way that is practical where we can have a third-party system to give this democracy some chance of survival?
Isn’t there anybody in DC that has a bit of patriotism in them? It apparently this is not the case America is producing total idiots and putting them in leadership positions.
Term limits comes to mind again, it would be great to see house representatives limited to three terms and the Senate limited to two turns. But they have to be the ones backing that amendment or it is never gonna happen. They are not inclined to give up their power because that is the glory that they have in themselves.

The Moscow lawyer had been turned down for a visa to enter the U.S. lawfully but then was granted special immigration parole by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch for the limited purpose of helping a company owned by Russian businessman Denis Katsyv, her client, defend itself against a Justice Department asset forfeiture case in federal court in New York City.
Generally, Americans should be concerned that the U.S. government contributes funds to a media outlet. Our government exists to protect the free press among other liberties, not to fund and sponsor media inimical to America’s interests. But this case is far more serious, as the U.S. government is funding a media outlet that is actively going to bat for Soros, and right after his groups’ lucrative contracts with the U.S. government have been called into question. This was the case in a recent OCCRP report that purported to scrutinize The Heritage Foundation, Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., and others who have called on the Trump administration to investigate how much money USAID has given to Soros groups over the years, but especially under the Obama administration.Nobody knows for sure how many millions in USAID taxpayer funds have gone into the Soros network, which is reason enough to call for a probe.
